We have collated together the local, regional and national funding available for local (town and parish) councils during the coronavirus outbreak.

We will continue to update this page as new funding becomes available.

New Funding – Updated January 2021

Cambridgeshire Coronavirus Community Fund – Parish and town councils that have lost income due to the crisis can apply for funding of between £1,000-£14,999 from this fund to help them to adapt their operations, services and working practices, and continue to support vulnerable people experiencing hardship as a result of the crisis. Deadline 1st February 2021.

Norfolk Winter Resilience Fund – Parish and town councils can apply for funding of up to £5,000 to help the most disadvantaged and vulnerable in Norfolk affected by coronavirus during the coming winter months. Ongoing.

Communities Fund (Leicestershire) – A total of £600,000 is being made available in this round to help parish and town councils and other organisations to adapt their service delivery, and continue to provide essential services for vulnerable people and communities in Leicestershire. Deadline 22nd January 2021.

Community Economic Recovery Fund (CERF) – Warwick District Council is making funding available to help support community organisations through the ‘recovery’ phase to enable them to deliver essential services to vulnerable people most impacted by Covid-19 in keeping with Government guidance. Maximum grant of £3,000. Ongoing.

Coronavirus Recovery and Stabilisation Grant Programme (South West) -Town and parish councils can apply for funding of up to £10,000 to enable ongoing service provision to support the most vulnerable and disadvantaged affected by COVID-19 in Bristol, Bath & North-East Somerset, North Somerset or South Gloucestershire. Deadline: November 2020.

Somerset Coronavirus Response & Recovery Fund –  Funding available for parish or town councils that are assisting the county’s most vulnerable people during the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. Deadline November 2020.
