Here at BHIB Councils Insurance we understand the passion and commitment that Local Councils drive into the charities and not for profit organisations in their area.

That’s why we are excited to announce the launch of our new sister brand, BHIB Charities Insurance!

The new website caters for charities and not for profit organisations of all sizes, including community groups, clubs, societies, voluntary organisations and hobby/interest groups (including insurance for Guides & Scouts).

Smaller not for profit organisations now have the ability to purchase insurance directly online, while the website provides a quick and easy solution for larger organisations to arrange a call with our expert team.

The core cover types available to buy online include:

  • Employers’ Liability

There are also a range of additional covers, including Trustee Indemnity, Cyber Insurance and Buildings Insurance, available on request.

All policies are underwritten by Aviva and we are Aviva’s chosen charity and not-for-profit partner to support charities and communities of all sizes.

The new website was built by our own software provider Brokertech, and gives charities full control on the types and levels of insurance cover they buy.

Commenting on the launch, BHIB’s Partnerships Director, Ajay Mistry, said:
